Munduk Waterfall is one of the most popular Bali Places of Interest and distance is about 70 km from Denpasar or 20 km from Area Tourism Bedugul, this beuatiful place located near Lake Tamblingan and Lake Buyan, this waterfall located in the village of Munduk, Banjar District, Buleleng regency. Munduk village located at an altitude of between 800 meters above sea level so the air is very cool and very suitable for agricultural areas, especially the coffee and clove.
It is one of the fabulous waterfall on the island, the path down to Munduk Waterfall is densely planted with clove and coffee trees as well as Avocado, Taro, Banana and some Durian tree. You can have such a great exercise while learning about the local farm and getting to know better of the local vegetation along the path down to the mighty waterfall.
Amongst a number of waterfalls in Bali, Munduk Waterfall would offer you a chance to really enjoy its beauty as it is not being so commercial yet, no one would bother you with buying things as at most of the tourist sites on the island. There are a few waterfalls here and if you want to do further exercise, you can easily walk up the hill side from this waterfall and get down on the other side of the hilly village and walk down to another one that is quit as high as this one.
The walk to Munduk Waterfall will offer you a great view to the coastal line of the northern Bali, the view at the bottom of the waterfall is a good one, although hardly spectacular, and most people will feel content spending only a few minutes here taking a couple of photos and then returning to their vehicle. The walk back to the carpark takes the same route as the arrival and is an easy climb for all but the most unfit.
In addition to Munduk Waterfall there is a simple restaurant when you are thirsty or hungry, splashing water and chirping birds are numerous and create an atmosphere of calm and peace.
