Toya Devasya Mount Batur hot springs were renovated for the last time in 2016 so that the overall construction of the site is relatively new. This new design of the hot springs site provides the segregation between the foreign section and local section. This is to accommodate two groups come from different culture and habit so they will feel more comfortable when bathing. It leads the differentiation in prices and facilities for the two groups. The resort also separates restaurants, toilets, and change facilities between the two groups. The segregation still makes it possible for international tourists to mingle with the local people in the hot springs. However, the local people are not allowed to come to the foreigner section. Both the groups will be able to enjoy clean hot pools when they need manicured grounds.
