5 Stars for Carik!! We had the absolute pleasure of being guided by Carik for the Mount Batur jeep and trekking combo, and we cannot speak highly enough of him! While we didn’t make it to the summit (thanks to being a bit out of shape and dealing with a bum knee), Carik made the experience unforgettable. He was incredibly patient, checking in on us regularly to ensure we were okay and comfortable. Thank you Carik for an amazing day! Great Way to Start Your Day in Bali! A sunrise hike was such a great way to start the day, the best part is, you are back at your hotel to catch breakfast and enjoy the rest of the day!We hiked up Mount Batur with our 9 month old daughter, and our guide Jata was amazing with her. He captured some of the most beautiful pictures of our family at the top and even took the time to play with our baby. Our experience with Bagus Bali Tours was exceptional. They were so responsive and helpful. Their website is easy to use and booking was a breeze. They picked us up right on time at our hotel and dropped us off just before 10am. We loved the stop at the coffee plantation and trying all the different coffees and teas. And unlike many other tours, you didn’t feel obliged to buy anything and it was a relatively quick stop. An amazing sun rise hike! We had an amazing time hiking up Mt Batur. Our driver arrived on time at 2.30am and drove us to the starting point of the hike where we met our guide Cooper. We were provided with a walking pole, water and a flashlight, and a small breakfast at the summit. The hike itself was not too difficult for a young active person, about 5km and 600m of elevation gain, taking us about 1 and a half hours to ascend. The sunrise views from the summit were incredible, and Cooper took some great photos of me and my girlfriend. Cooper was an absolute star, super nice guy. His English was great and we learned a lot about Bali, his culture and his life. I highly recommend booking with Bagus and Cooper!![Tripadvisor]()

Unforgettable Mount Batur Sunrise Trek with Outstanding Guide Carik!! Our Mount Batur sunrise trek was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything was perfectly arranged. Eric, our driver, was exceptional—friendly, punctual, and went the extra mile, even offering to drop us back in Ubud for breakfast after the trek. Once we arrived, Carik, our guide, took over, and he was fantastic. He expertly drove us up the mountain in a Jeep and then guided us on foot to a secluded spot with breathtaking views of the sunrise, far from the crowds. Excellent, Super Friendly Service Had an awesome (early) morning trekking up Mount Batur to watch the sunrise. Eric collected us very promptly from the hotel and was great to chat to on the way, whilst Carik was an excellent guide up the mountain (we did partial Jeep, partial walking tour) - he even took some lovely candid photos of us as the sun rose which turned out better than the ones my wife and I took! Would highly recommend the trip and encourage you to use these guys!Showing only 4-5 star reviews
