Our jeep driver and guide, Carik, was great. He was safe even when the roads were rough and bumpy. He was knowledgeable and also brought us to see sunrise from another viewpoint, away from the crowds. Carik is a great photographer and took some really nice pics for us to remember the experience! Jata was a patient guide - I needed to catch my breath while climbing up and i’m petrified of heights so he literally held my hand while coming down. It was a breeze because of him. Couldn’t have imagined doing this without the support. Wayan Sukrawan drove us to Batur from our hotel and the Hot Springs. It was comfy and super nice to be have him shadow us through out. Getting into the hot springs after the trek was a blessing. A little crowded and sunny but very much needed.Verified Sunrise Trekking with breakfast and Hotel Transfer Ari picked us up and was on time. His English is quite good and was very friendly! We then met with Jata at the base of Mt. Batur and he was fun and kind! He provided us with walking sticks and headlights to start the trek and kept us entertained. If we needed to stop for a break he didn’t mind at all. His English is also very good and when we reached the top he took so many pictures for my wife and I, even coming up with awesome posing ideas! Yon had great advice, was very knowledgable and is a great photographer, which ensured we have stunning images that captured our day. Our guide Carik was so kind and allowed us to have the best experience. During the hike (which can get rocky and tiring), he made sure we had time to rest and allowed us to set the pace. When we got to the top, he picked the best spot for us where we could see the sunset unobstructured by other people.
