A trek worth every bit of tears and sweat! Thanks Oman!
Though at times difficult, the view at the top of the trek was worth every bit of sweat and thoughts of giving up. Our guide Oman, kept us on our paces, and keep the route safe for us city boys. Great experience all round
I found the hike quite challenging but it’s probably quite straightforward for an experienced hiker. Views at the top are worth the effort! amazing view from the top of the mountain. bisa liat sunrise dengan background Danau Batur, Bukit Trunyan, Gunung Abang, Gunung Rinjani from afar. besstt! juga ditemani guide yg sabarrr sama kita, haha , makasii banyaak mang! kami ambil trip start trekking dari basecamp, dan dapet bonus sarapan (ini karena satu case dan lain hal ya..) start nanjak jam berapa sampe puncak jam berapa, wkwkwk, sungguhlah kami sadar kami adalah beban.. tapi gpp, perjalanan kami selamat pulang dan pergi, dapat sunrise, dapat good view. Thank youuu mang! Thank you Batur! add: wear your proper shoes , sepatu hiking/trail running lebih disarankan. medannya berpasir dan batu cadas. keep yourself warm, bawa minum secukupnya. ada beberapa pos yg jualan tapi lebih baik mempersiapkan dari basecamp sesuai kebutuhan masing masing. ada pilihan transport lainnya selain trekking, bisa naik motor trail / jeep. tinggal pilih saja :). Best experience!
Amazing hike!! The views are incredible at the top. Our guide, Jata, was the best!! He had water, hiking sticks, and headlights ready for us and was very patient with our pace. He took so many great photos and even cooked boiled eggs for us with the steam of the volcano! Highly recommend! Ps. 50 and 60 yo ladies up the rocky mountain! 😁
Gede was our guide and he’s the best! Patiently waited for us as we trudged our way breathlessly! We didn’t trekked anll the way and had our breakfast at the resting point, 30 minutes from the top. Has some banana toast n hard boil egg n tea. Yumm! There was only 1 other couple there and we felt that was the best decision coz there are many many visitors up there and the view where we were, was just as magnificent, I’m sure! Gede was our unofficial photographer, and all the photos are Instagram worthy and more!! On the way down, Gede was there to offer a helping hand n support coz it’s more tricky to go down. Sunrise hike with Mangku was incredible!
We booked a private tour and could not recommend this experience enough. Ricky (our driver) was great and picked us up from our hotel on time. The hike itself was beautiful but our guide, Mangku, really made the experience. He was a wealth of information, took amazing photos for us, and was so kind/ helpful. Beautiful place. With our guide Maradona was amazing and we had a lot of fun with him. We get communicated very well throughout the tour!
